Stepping out of the hotel, you’ll find yourself in Corso Umberto I, in the heart of Taormina, a great starting point to discover one of the most wonderful places in the whole of Sicily, where old and modern blend wonderfully. Taormina, with its spectacular Teatro Greco (“Greek Theatre”) and its Arab-Norman buildings, is not the only locality to discover.
Not too far away you’ll come across the medieval village of Castelmola, an utterly unspoilt oasis by the sea called Isolabella, and Mount Etna, the greatest and still active volcano in Europe which you can easily get to, either by car or with organized tours.

By Plane
The closest airport to Taormina and the Hotel Taodomus is the Fontanarossa Airport in Catania (64 km away). From the airport, take the S.A.I.S. bus or Etna Services bus to Taormina and get off at the last stop, the terminal on Via Pirandello. From here, we recommend our guests take a taxi, which reaches the hotel in only a few minutes.
By Train
The Taormina-Giardini Naxos train station (Catania-Messina lines) can be reached from all directions. Our Hotel is located only 2 kilometres from the train station. We recommend that our guests take a taxi, which reaches the hotel in only a few minutes.
By Car
From the A18 Catania-Messina highway, exit at Taormina and continue to the historic centre (approximately 7 kilometers) up to the entrance into the city near the Lumbi parking garage. Keep to the left and take the Monte Tauro Tunnel, which bypasses the centre of Taormina and exits at Porta Catania parking garage (a partner of the Hotel Taodomus), park you car and keep the parking ticket with you, take the elevator up to the 7th floor and walk along Corso Umberto. After 5 minutes, on the right side of Corso Umberto, you will find a beautiful decorated glass door at number 224, which is the Hotel Taodomus’ entrance.
